Through EY's Eyes

Dear Blog friends…

I had to delete my Blogspot blog, and consolidate on Tumblr. (sorry Blogspot family!) But what can I say, Tumblr just appeals to me a lot better than Blogspot ever could. I want to be clear though: I love what Blogspot does but everyone has a preference and there is nothing wrong with that.

I have been thinking a lot about 2012. And since I have been sucking at this, I am going to make an effort to blog at least monthly about my statuses on my 2012 goals. So here they are:

  • Diminish my magazine purchases. I seriously could have killed a whole forest with the fricken stacks I have. It’s ridiculous. Plus, why buy them when I never read the entire thing?! Come on now. It’s just a waste of money.
  • In keeping with the above, I should get back into books. I used to read SO MUCH and now…not so much. This will also help me keep up with Goodreads!
  • Organize my closet and armoire.
  • Money: A.) Save from every paycheck, as well as whatever is leftover from the previous paycheck. This has worked for me in the past so I am going to continue to do it. B.) PAY OFF CAR before the August date. I will be so excited to have the extra money in my pocket every month! C.) Continue on my quest to pay off all CC debt by 2013. I’m so close!!
  • Be more active. I have dance teaching starting up again January 19th, and I have taken up Yoga every Wednesday night. With this, I want to start running again. Maybe during the workday? Who knows. And of course with this comes the eating healthier.

I am just excited for 2012.

2011 was filled with too many ups and downs, and I am just ready to push it all behind me and start fresh. I have a new relationship, work is going SO WELL, and while I barely see my friends thanks to said job I have still have a great support system of friends. That should be a goal: VISIT and KEEP IN TOUCH with friends more.

Good grief.

Wish me luck!!!
